Sandblasting is the process which small abrasive particles are targeted at an object at a very high speed. Its almost like bulding a stand castel and then spraying a water hose at it, the material comes off very evenly and quickly. Sandblasting is used a lot in glass to create smooth surfaces, its also has many industrial maintenance uses for blasting rust off the underside of cars or the pipes in large buildings.
